What is a good ROAS or cost per lead on Meta?

Last Updated: Nov 8, 20261 min read

A good figure depends on your margins, average order value and sales conversion rate. A cost per lead that looks high can be excellent if the lead becomes a high-value customer, and a low one can be poor if the leads never buy.

Work out your break-even return on ad spend, which is the point where ad spend equals profit, and your target cost per qualified lead from your sales data. Industry averages are only a rough guide, because every business differs.

Measure quality as well as cost. Cost per qualified lead, cost per sale and payback period tell the real story.

How to set your targets:

  • Break-even ROAS: spend equals gross profit
  • Target ROAS: your required profit margin
  • Cost per qualified lead: from sales feedback
  • Customer lifetime value: include repeat purchases
  • Payback period: how fast spend returns
  • Benchmarks: use as context, not as rules

Our influencer marketing agency in Dubai builds a target model with social media marketing company in Dubai, PPC agency in Dubai and {L4}.

Pro Tip

At Awrange, we calculate targets with the client’s finance numbers before launch. Without margins, a “good” result is just a guess.
